Patient Participant Groups work with their practice to provide practical support, to help patients take more responsibility for their own health and to provide strategic input and advice.

If you do not wish to join the group, but feel you have an idea that may improve the running of the practice, please submit your idea on paper to the manager, and post in the suggestion box, it will be considered if feasible and within the practices power.

Currently we have a very pro-active team, that meets every 8 weeks, to discuss idea’s supplied on how the practice may improve its service to their patients, along with collating information from outside sources to assist patient with non clinical secondary service concern.

The group has already undertaken 2 surveys on behalf of the patients at the practice. the first survey related to the patient perspective on the running of the practice via forms where available at the front desk and then placed when completed anonymously in a box by the patient which in turn the PPG team assessed and produced the outcome.

The second related to patients access to transport for to attend secondary services, which is resulting in a short listing of transporting service/time availability yet to be released.
